Monsoon Sky, formed late in 2022, is comprised of five musicians who have played with each other in various line ups over the past decade. All are Desert Bluegrass Association (DBA) devotees who met during workshops or jams. They opened the 2023 DBA festival and will be performing at the upcoming festival in March. Band members are Dave Polston (banjo), Andy Bennett (mandolin), Brad Austin (dobro), Daniel Stolte (guitar), and Stephanie Austin (bass).
