The bonus workshops are intended to focus on specific instruments or aspects of bluegrass such as harmony singing. They are offered in addition to the regular workshops that focus on introducing all players to the joys of jamming. Many of these are co-sponsored by DBA and Chicago Music Store.

Steve Smith Guitar Workshop
Steve Smith will be back this summer with another bonus workshop for all you guitar pickers out there. Co-sponsored by the DBA and Chicago Music Store and free to DBA members, this exciting dive into the world of groove and fancy flatpicking will be held at Chicago Music Store on Saturday, June 27 from 1-3 p.m. While Steve is very well known for his mandolin playing, he is also extremely accomplished on guitar, and he brings that same insightful teaching skill to this instrument.
