The band scramble is one of the most fun events for amateur musicians at the festival. Put your name in the bucket for your instrument at the registration table. Members for each band will be randomly assigned. The first band will be announced, and will have 5 min. to assemble and to choose a name and a song (so not really any time for practice). The second band will be drawn just before the first performs, and will play as soon as the first is finished. This will continue until all the participants have had the chance to play in at least one band (some players of the less common instruments may be asked to perform in multiple bands).
