Volunteering

Without Volunteers, this festival and most all other festivals, would not exist.  Volunteers are needed for the “day of festival” tasks that are necessary to stage a festival. They are also needed for helping with the pre-planning and gathering of things needed for the festival.
Members of the Desert Bluegrass Association are solicited as volunteers. The organizational members that respond become the pool of volunteer helpers necessary for staging the festival.

The Volunteer Coordinator for the Festival is:
Dale Lynne Vickroy      DesertBluegrassWebmaster@gmail.com   520-664-0340

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Soliciting DBA member volunteers
  • Determining the Volunteer tasks
  • Determining the work schedules for the tasks
  • Assigning the Volunteers to the tasks per the schedule
  • Monitoring the Volunteers to ensure they show up on schedule and understand their duties
VOLUNTEERS WHO WORK 4 HOURS WILL RECEIVE A FREE WEEKEND PASS. VOLUNTEERS WHO PLAN TO CAMP WILL NEED TO PAY FOR THEIR CAMPING.
