Tucson's Desert Bluegrass Festival

The Desert Bluegrass Association would like to welcome everyone to attend our 14^th Annual Tucson Bluegrass Festival on Oct. 25-27, 2013. Held in the comfortable AVA Amphitheater under clear Arizona skies this event begins with a free Friday evening band contest featuring any bluegrass band thinking they have their chops together sufficiently to win our generous cash prizes. On Saturday morning we get serious and feature a succession of high quality bands performing continuously throughout the day. We then take a break for dinner and return to enjoy an evening concert featuring our headliner bands. Sunday morning opens with a gospel segment then continues unabated until about mid afternoon. Throughout the weekend there are workshops, vendors and most importantly lots of jamming. We offer free RV parking and clean bathrooms. You need only to show up and enjoy the whole experience.

This year the DBA is partnering with the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona on Friday night to collect non-perishable food or monetary donations. The Community Food Bank distributes food to the greater Tucson community including the Pascua Yaqui Nation (our hosts at the Ava Amphitheater). You will receive one raffle ticket for your donation.
