October 26 the new and improved Bluegrass band, Dusty River returns to the SaddleBrooke Performing Art Center. Back with the band are some of your favorites. The Mamula Brothers, Rudy and Sam are here, Sam with that wonderful tenor voice and Rudy with his on-stage humor. Rosie Briones will fiddle up a storm and is always a crowd please. SaddleBrooke’s own, Rich Errico, will bring some hot mandolin licks and new songs too.
But the biggest news is the addition of 17 year old Maria McArthur. Maria has been playing music all her life and is wiz on the banjo, guitar, fiddle and dobro. She is an Arizona state champion in both banjo and flat pick guitar. She was won awards for swing fiddling and twin fiddling. This September she will be playing at the bluegrass Mecca, Station Inn, in Nashville with bluegrass mandolin legend Mike Compton. Maria is sure to amaze you with her talent and mastery of all these instruments, all of which she will be playing at our performance in SaddleBrooke. The Bluegrass Band, Dusty River is pleased to welcome Maria into the band. We know she will be a showstopper.
